Mystra is said to have been around at least as long as the modern races have existed, perhaps even longer than that. She is said to behave in mysterious ways, at times acting in ways that don't make sense to the common person, and often stumping even her most devoted followers. She is said to have brought about some of the most unusual blessings and mysteries throughout history, notably being believed to be the cause of the Year of Silence. 

Corellon originated at first as simply a concept, a motivation for those entranced by the arts, before finally becoming so strong that he finally became a being, forged in the form of his most devoted folk, the elves. Likely due to that, he tends to favor those that have some sort of elvish lineage, though he is known to grant simple blessings and motivation to those who are struggling to find their muse. Although there’s rarely actions of his noted through history, he’s believed to have had some sort of influence over the infamous bard’s song that caused issues in Igarot.

Azuth is the newest of the Arcana domain, a creation of Mystra to put his full focus on those who imbue their creations with magic itself, especially the artificers.  He tends to not get directly involved in mortal life, often acting in the background and indirectly in anything he does with the people. Despite tending to stay involved with people’s lives, he is said to be the one who grants artificers their infusions and fuels any magic that enforces weapon abilities. 

It’s uncertain when exactly Hecate first came to be, but she became increasingly more prominent in life after non-innate magic began to spread. She is said to be both brutal to those who abuse and misuse their power, but also giving to the powerless who can only hope for more. She is said to have been behind the magical plague that swept across Igarot in the 130s, but also to grant simple blessings to those who go through enough effort to do the impossible.

Savras was once a being that was said to be over most learned magic and wizardry, but as time went on and he was happy to relent more power to Mystra, his focus narrowed specifically on the divine. While his main focus is those seeking predictions on the future and what is to come, he often helps with connection between the people and the domains. He is said to be the person that offers divination answers when one doesn’t direct it towards a certain god or are refused by one.

The earliest of the forge domain, for a period Moradin held full control over the domain, which was easy enough in early times with most of his efforts being focused on the work of dwarves, the domain eventually had to expand. He is said to be rather fair with any of his behavior, rarely showing favorites even to those who have offered grand gestures to him, and being hands on with helping people with their crafting attempts. He is said to be the very one to give inspiration for the shields and armors that are used even today, perhaps even the first maker of them.

Once a man that was the most devoted to the forge and the magic drawn from it, Darahl was granted the title of god hood after his untimely mortal death in a grand gesture to protect others. His interactions with mortals are more timid and tense, his impact often fleeting like fading flames or coming fast like a landslide. His actions are rarely done alone, often working alongside others of the forge domain as well as commonly those of the arcana and nature domains.

Believed to be a direct creation and protege of Moradin’s, Gond’s focus fell specifically on the smithing and creation of new things. He often works alongside Hecate and Azuth, pushing for people to stretch their abilities to the fullest, especially if they have some sort of magical capabilities that opens the opportunities for new creations. While he is given some credit to some of the best imbued weapons and items around, he’s believed to be responsible for pushing those who pushed too far. 

Surtur’s focus once fell onto purely taking care of the mortal flame folk, but eventually expanded onto territory bordering on Darahl’s powers. In recent years, with many of his followers losing their lives to the ongoing conflicts and dangers, much of his influence and abilities and fallen to Darahl, with his name becoming less and less commonly shared. He was once considered to be the creation of all those touched by the flames, especially the fire giants and fire genasi.

Tharmekhul’s focus falls fully onto the forge that allows for things to be made instead of the creations themselves, though also encourages those who don’t rely on magic to create. While his actions are typically more subtle and less hands on, many give thanks to him in times that their flames stay alight in the worse condition or when their tools last long despite constant wearing. Apart from keeping the materials and tools used for crafting safe, he’s said to have been the one to play inspiration or perhaps even the direct creator for many of the styles of axes around. 

Anubis’ influence over the world has been recorded as far back as records shown, rarely if ever shown in a malevolent light. While there have been many arguments over the years of if he should be considered a part of the order domain, due to how heavily his unbiased judgement focuses on the dead, people have settled with grave. He nearly never interacts with the living people, focusing his efforts on the deceased, ensuring they live their eternity in the right place 

Kelemvor came into existence only after Anubis had made thousands of judgements, some in which, even those who would spend their eternity in the Upper Planes, wanting another chance at life. Their choices are often heavily influenced by Anubis as well as Tyr, offering second chances to those who crave for another chance, even rarely doing so for those falling to the hells. His actions are rarely if ever perceived by the living, often going to extreme lengths to ensure those given second chances never find out that they were given one to avoid influencing their behavior. 

While Osiris’ control falls similar to that of Vecna, his focus is on the beings themselves rather than the control over them, causing them to often work hand and hand. While the two often work heavily together, there are things that they heavily differ on belief wise, causing their relation to be often tense and quarrelsome. His actions are known to people mostly as glimpses of him protecting the undead moments before they are struck down, briefly fortifying them. 

Vandria was created from the need of those mourning and grieving, with Urogalan being believed to have played a part in her existence. While much of her influence focuses on the dead and those that have lost who they are, there are many who turn to her during their grief over losing things like objects, opportunities, and love. She rarely does anything major to those who make requests from her, often giving gentle reassurances and soft touches of comfort.

One that came into existence nearly at the same time as Myrkul, Segojan brings forth life from the decay and death that are so common around the world. As with the other god, his actions often competed with Vecna’s to allow for life to spring forth before an undeath can take place, though unlike him, he believes that they can exist at the same time. He is said to be responsible for the flowers and plants that grow around and overtake where people have fallen, especially graveyards and locations of battle. 

 Oghma is said to have begun existing for as long as intelligent thought has, though it’s likely even before then, and is one of the earliest recorded gods. It is said that he played a strong part in bringing Corellon to life, as well as the two often working alongside each other, as well as Gond and Thoth. He has been credited with many of the inspiring thoughts that people have had throughout history, including but not limited to establishing new protocols and grand inventions. 

Waukeen is a newer goddess of knowledge, only truly coming into being as more modern trade and purchasing habits have been taken up, and likely drew from a part of Thoth. While she enjoys making her blessings obvious to the people, she avoids doing things that will cause unfair imbalances unless someone has offered enough to her in return. Some of the common things that she does for the people is help merchants when they’re down on their luck and bringing the right whispers about where to find certain objects people are seeking. 

Jergal is as old as the first tales of war, illness, and downfall of people, and is said to have records of every single tale and piece depicting so back to the beginning of worldly existence. He is never the first to reach out to the people, knowing that the knowledge he holds can be quite jarring and unwelcome to the common folk who don’t actively seek it out. Despite his restraint from reaching out, he doesn’t hold back from giving information about his recorded events.  

Thoth once held more power than he does now, but relinquished much of it to his other gods in order to ensure that the people are given the proper attention that they need. He is considered to be one of the fairest and unbiased god within the domains, often allowing even those who had done him great wrongs to prove why they should get what they want. While he doesn’t often make major decisions in the world, if a good enough argument can convince him, he has made a few exceptions in the past, some thinking he has had influence over some elections. 

Despite many seeing her as a fearsome goddess, Shekinester came into existence to represent and protect those that the world would consider not normal. Like those that she protects, her behavior is also often considered rather unusual and direct with the mortal folk, openly helping those like her and twisting those who wrong her so that they must experience what it is to be like them. Many go out of their way to avoid falling under her sight due to what she has done to people before, though the ‘unusual’ are said to have much improved lives after giving offerings to her. 

Created directly in relation to Demeter’s existence, Lathander tends to focus on the earlier years of one’s life, offering them guidance and protection with all their new experiences. It doesn’t take much to sway favor from him, especially if you give off a sense that you are truly asking for the good of someone else. There have been many times throughout history that he has been noted to give blessings to children going through hardships and protect them from harm. 

A deity who was once rather prominent in offering comfort as people reached their older age or near death, typically from some sort of major illness, but has begun to be prayed to less often. For quite some time, he offered freedom from any aches and pains that one may feel from what they’re going through, but has since been happy to relent such duties to those like Iallanis. Although it hasn’t been said to happen for the past few hundred years, he’s usually the one to be there in a person’s final moments when there’s no one else around.

Amaunator’s specialty is said to have once fallen under Lathander’s, but there’s debate if that was true or if the two simply came into existence at the same time. They represent the beginning of a new day, new opportunities, and the chance to start things with a fresh mind and new hopes, sharing a similar mindset to Kelemvor. They are well known for doing simple tasks such as a person trying to start a new life finding needed gold, and bringing nutritional soil for farmers. 

 Milil is believed to have existed for as long as any sort of music has, with there being mixed opinions on if he or Corellon came into existence first. While a lot of their territory overlaps, he is known to despise Balder’s use of his charisma, seeing it instead as a means of bringing joy and new inspirations and thoughts to people, and needing a certain sense of formality. He is well known for working alongside Oghma with the bardic sort to help them find new creative ideas. 

 It is said that Eilistraee came from sparks of hope from those being helped in captivity, their feelings so strong, bringing forth a new goddess. She is said to work with caution yet hold a certain gentleness with those who truly need it the most, and an unforgiving ruthlessness to those who deserve it. While most of her actions are typically done without major recognition, many give her thanks for helping with the slave trading operation bust in Seltortis in the mid-180s. 

For some time, nature simply just was, until it wasn’t, beginning to grow wild and untame, fueling forth Silvanus’ existence for some sort of control over it. Just like the things that he represents, his behavior is often considered to be rather wild and reckless, often sticking his nose into places he shouldn’t and slacking off at the most important times. He’s become somewhat notorious for dangerous plantlife, but has shown a few blessings of protecting sacred lands. 

 Eadro is said to have been born from a great primordial who, through many feats, was able to rise to godhood, protecting and representing those whom he came. While at most times he is fair and neutral in the judgment and granting of blessings to his followers, it is said that his temperament shifts with the changes of the moon. Though he is rarely willing to compete against Umberlee, it’s said that when there’s unusually calm water around the seafolk, it’s his doing. 

As plant life began to settle, grand forests began to make their appearances around the world, with Mielikki coming into existence to be the one to watch over and protect them. It is said that she has an unusually close connection with the mortals who walk the earth, her fondness for half-born beings likely due to rumors that she has mothered mortal children before. While most of her responsibility falls to protecting the forest itself, she grants protection for peaceful folk who find their way within one as long as they don’t harm any of her creatures. 

 Skerrit came into existence out of dire need, becoming the one that anyone, mortal or immortal, could come to in cases that required a neutral mediator or unbiased advice. It is said that the higher beings reach out to her almost as much as mortal people do, often trying to hear all sides of a situation before offering any of her thoughts on the matter. She is said to play a part in settling ongoing conflicts, some even saying she’s present during the Royal Hearing in Rezia. 

 Hiatea could never exist without efforts from Chauntea and Amaunator, both being reliant on and a provider for both of their domains and territories. She is demanding that people put in the effort for their work, but giving once one proves themselves to her, forcing moderation for those who become too greedy for their own wealth and benefit. Her actions tend to come subtly, focusing mostly on the hunt of medium-sized animals such as deer and offering luck for foraging. 

Iallanis has always been a gentle giant, likely coming into existence around the same time as Skerrit, playing as much on the more ‘kind’  and peaceful option when the other remained fully neutral. She always speaks with people on an equal and with kindness, though this at time comes off as treating someone like they’re pitiful, and always vouching for mercy. The most common instance of her being mentioned is moments before killing someone, the would-be killer would claim they felt a presence and then a wave of happiness and self-contentment, giving mercy. 

Angharradh was a direct creation of Kelemvor, being ensuring those given their second chance to live have at least the chance to experience the life that they had wished to. Her main focus originally fell onto the reborn souls, but eventually grew into all who wish to grow through life, especially the ones wishing to redeem themselves from past actions. Her influences are rarely visible to most, often offering flashes of what fate may bring if a bad path is taken. 

 Mind, body, and soul, all things that Berronar was created to protect and help show the mortals how to enable themselves to do so. Despite their main focus being on keeping people safe, they often do this with brutal honesty about how actions and risks may put everything at risk, sometimes even waiting till after something has happened to point out how foolish it was. In the times that they do grant blessings, it is usually simple things like locking a door against a robber. 

Cyrrollalee is believed to have been created from the pain of a promised secret being shattered, to ensure nothing of that sort will happen again. Even though her main focus is trust, she is often portrayed as a rather untrusting and paranoid person, with it taking much effort on the other party’s part to earn her attention and to earn anything of significance from her. It’said that doubt you have about saying something that might not be yours to share is her whispering in your ear. 

A direct counterpart for Umberlee, Eldath’s existence came to be after the other goddess’s temperament took a life too many. She is typically soft-spoken and moves with a trained confidence, as if they are ready to adapt to anything that may happen to herself or to anyone else around. They are believed to be the one that truly grants calm waters, even if often sailors pray directly to Umberlee herself, ‘hijacking’ the prayers to grant her own blessings. 

The infamous malicious goddess of the seas, Umberlee is the main reason that many people once feared venturing out into the often raging waters that surrounded them. She is known for being petty over the smallest things, greedy in expecting the most from anyone making offerings to her, and unhesitant to drown someone over even the smallest slighting against her. Any day that the seas are raging are blamed on her, and it’s said one staying on or near the ocean may hear the sound of her arguing over things with Eldath. 

Akadi’s said to be the source of all beings of the sky, especially those who fly with the usage of wings and primordialkind. She is said to be kind and gentle to most, no more than a lightly buffering breeze to even those who have grown to be on her bad side, but can be quite harsh to those who had truly earned her spike. She is usually given thanks after any successful flights of winged beings or airships around, usually receiving offerings during Varis’s Great Separation. 

 While Talos’ focus is mostly on destruction brought upon by water related issues such as floods and tsunamis, he is often believed to have some sort of control over all major destruction that happens around the world. He is typically violent and harsh, rarely helping mortals but showing a favoritism towards those who bring about more destruction in the world. He’s usually the one blamed for the above mentioned natural disasters, but often any sort of major destruction as well. 

 Stronmaus is said to be as much a part of the weather around the world as they are the one to control it. Their presence is often stretched wide and far, straining them and typically causing their emotional state to be reliant on the weather currently in the area, making the best time to attempt to make offerings or contact with them during clear skies or light drizzles. It is said that one who catches them in the right time and right mood may request the weather for the next day. 

As much as Akadi is the goddess of air, Zeus is the controller of the sky that contains her winds, usually agreeing and working alongside her but occasionally breaking out in disagreements. It is said that any time one of those disagreements happen between the two of them, the rumble of thunder can be heard for many miles and possibly even cause hurricanes and tornados to begin. His favor is easily earned by those who sing him praises and give him pretty enough offerings. 

Tymora’s powers is said to have been around for well before she is considered to have existed, but she has made a name of herself especially throughout the more recent years. She is said to be favorable for most people that treat her with respect, but it doesn’t always guarantee it, with her carrying the ability of bringing about bad luck as well. She’s praised throughout the world for grand gambling wins and people surviving the impossible, but scorned when ‘bad luck’ strikes. 

Shar is said to be the one that people turn to when they feel like they have reached a total dead end, many hoping that if she can’t help them forget their issues then she simply ends it all for them. She is said to embrace the darkness and what all one has lost, sometimes offering to simply help someone forget about it, other times pushing them to embrace it. It is believed that those who have memory issues after major events are being protected by her in some way. 

Memnor existed first as a concept, fueled by those who held too much confidence and used it to hold power over others, until it finally brought him life into the deity that he is now. He is noted to be rather full of himself, often refusing to back down from an argument even if it's well proven he is wrong, though he rarely picks fights due to his pride. His blessings to the people is believed to be giving bursts of confidence when needed, sometimes causing too much pride. 

Cyric was once a god that held much more power than he once did, being said to have once held all the abilities of the trickery domain until eventually simply falling to the portion of revenge and murder. He is said to act almost sickeningly sweet to people, especially those who are active targets of his, just waiting for the right time for any nefarious plans of his to act out. He is said to be more likely to take a blessing and assist someone’s need for revenge if they give a sob story. 

With there being much overlap between her powers and Asmodeus, there is a constant power struggle between the two. While the devil mostly focuses on twisting his words and telling verbal lies, she focuses on the overall act of deceit, the words, the body languages, the simple diversions to skirt the truth rather than outright telling lies. Her blessings are favored by those who may not want to get caught in the act, working more on subtlety than anything else with their deceit. 

Tempus, an ever vigilant and forwards god, has surged in powers throughout the year, strongest amongst the midst of any wars or fights that happen around the world. While he isn’t always the one to provoke fights, he always will be the one to end it, never backing down from a challenge when one is proposed to him. Many think that he is behind the major wars that have happened throughout the world, causing mixed feelings about those who choose to worship and praise him.

The stories of Bahamut’s origin is mixed, even among the gods he walks alongside, some saying his existence began as a god from the very beginning and others saying he rose to godhood from a mortal state. He is ruthless and brutal, rarely allowing for people to get another word in after they have done something to anger him, but if someone acts fast enough they may be able to catch him off guard and get in enough words and offerings to earn his favor. His control is the greatest of the dragon and dragonkin that roam the world, most likely to offer them his kindness. 

While many refuse to fully believe his existence, saying that those who get blessings from him are simply from Cyric, Hoar deeply holds his judgements based on the laws of the land. There are times in which he feels greatly divided by his own opinions and the laws the rule the area, but ultimately fall on the latter, rarely giving any sort of budge. Any criminals that dare to try reaching out to him will often be punished instead, the fools occasionally even getting captured. 

Enlil has existed from the first moment that a mortal was struck down due to a foolish mistake, existing purely to ensure that the people would have a way to properly protect themselves. He often works alongside Moradin, with both carrying similar mindstets about the best way to keep the people safe, though his focuses aren’t as fully focused on armors and weapons. There’s the occasional recounting of those teaching training tactics to others blanking out briefly, teaching amazingly great classes during it, leading people to believe it may have been Enlil himself. 

A deity created from the will of those who let their enjoyment rule over anything else, Hanseath is well known to be ready for a good brawl at anytime. Possibly due to his origins, many who have had interactions with him report that he often behaves as a confidence crazed drunkard who never thinks things through for less than a moment. The few who do attempt to earn his blessings often only get desultory replies that, at times, didn’t even match up to what they were hoping for.
