Note:
OOC stands for Out of Character, information that you as a player do.
IC means in character, meaning things that your character does.
Behavior
- You must be 18 or older to play on this server.
- Content both in our discord and minecraft server is expected to remain appropriate for a 16+ rating.
- English is our primary language and should be used in all areas of the server.
- Hate speech (including real-world slurs) and any sort of discrimination (racism, sexism, homophobia) will not be tolerated.
- Avoid known triggering topics (such as religion and politics) when possible, and respect it if someone asks you to change the subject.
- Harassment of any sort is not tolerated, including but not limited to not leaving someone alone when they ask you to, attempting to contact them through multiple means, and following them around OOCly on server.
- Spamming and other disruptive behavior (purposefully talking over someone in a voice chat, interrupting conversations, overusing soundboards, etc) is not permitted.
- Any history or current activity of someone 18+ doing any activities of a sexual nature with a minor will result in a ban.
- Lying about being old enough to play on the server is a permanently bannable offence.
- Advertising for other servers / discord is not allowed in any part of our server or related areas.
- You are allowed to have two characters at a time, but only if you have two minecraft accounts.
- If you have two accounts, while both can be logged on at the same time, both are not permitted to be in roleplay. In the instance that one account joins an event, you must log out on the other.
- Doxing or releasing private information from another member of our community is a punishable offense.
- Do not stream or record any instances of roleplay or events with any relation to the server without the permission of everyone involved, informing those who join the roleplay or event later, and ending it if someone requests it to be ended.
- Misuse of staff time and resources is not allowed (including but not limited to making joke tickets, pinging tickets with less than 48 hours from the last message, contacting staff directly through Discord DMs except in extenuating circumstances in which the server owner or direct RMs may be contacted.)
- Behavior inappropriate for the server is at the discretion of the Moderation Team (Rule Masters).
Roleplay and In-Game:
- Minecraft skins must be appropriate and accurate for the server.
- No griefing, which includes but is not limited to destruction of property, items, placing water and lava around, and spamming blocks.
- Stealing from players without OOC agreement and IC roleplay isn’t allowed.
- Cracked clients and using any mods or other tools to give yourself an unfair advantage is not allowed.
- Powergaming (Such as using abilities that you don’t have, controlling another player’s character, auto-hitting / dodging) and Metagaming (Using knowledge and information your character wouldn’t know ICly) are not permitted.
- You must properly announce your arrival in character when in a region where roleplay is actively or commonly takes place.
- You must take into consideration the time it takes to travel between places in the world and your movement for character activity.
- Keep IC and OOC separate. A character’s behavior and beliefs do not always reflect a player’s.
- Keep OOC chatter to a minimum during roleplay.
- Character ages must be at the age of adulthood or older for their race.
- Joke characters and ones based closely on other media sources are not allowed.
- No sexual roleplay may take place on our Discord or Minecraft server.
- Graphic roleplay is to be kept modest or fade to black (FTB), some subjects in which should not be descriptively mentioned, including but not limited to birth roleplay, trauma, detailed killings or maimings, and gory stories.
- Using OOC information to find the location of roleplays happening not in public locations (including but not limited to conversations happening in private residences or locations outside of town) is not allowed.
- Any sort of in-character conflict must remain in character, and any fight that may have outcomes such as death or permanent injuries must have OOC consent with the following statement being said in chat:
((I, [Username], consent to PvP with my character, [Character] on [Date].
